Effectiveness of Agnes

Agnes employs high-frequency radio waves to thermally destroy sebaceous glands within acne, reducing inflammation and decreasing excessive sebum production—the main culprit of acne. With repeated treatments, the bacteria contributing to acne are also eliminated, making acne less likely to recur. Furthermore, Agnes stimulates collagen production by causing minor deep-layer skin damage, promoting the smoothing of acne scars.

Patient Testimonials for Agnes Treatment

Here are some thoughts from actual patients who underwent Agnes acne treatment:

Q: What led you to choose Agnes treatment, and what were your concerns before the treatment?

A: I suddenly developed skin irritation, acne, redness, and nothing seemed to improve it, no matter which skincare products or medications I used. I chose this clinic because there was a possibility of resolving acne from the root with Agnes.

Q: What was your experience with counseling, the explanation before Agnes treatment, and how did you feel about it?

A: I received very thorough explanations and felt that my questions and concerns were addressed with care.

Q: Can you describe the content of Agnes treatment, pain level, and the time it took?

A: The treatment was effective from the start. At the beginning of the treatment, it was a bit painful, but I could endure it as there were short breaks during the procedure.

Q: Please share your experience from the day of the treatment, from arrival at the clinic to after the procedure.

A: After counseling, the doctor examined me, and then I received a detailed explanation. After the treatment, I experienced some redness, but I followed the post-treatment care instructions provided.

Q: What was the progression after the treatment?

A: Initially, there was a slight swelling. However, the redness gradually subsided the next day.

Q: Tell us about the content of Agnes aftercare and your thoughts on it.

A: I found iontophoresis to be pleasant. I also learned the importance of moisturizing.

Q: Please share your thoughts on the results of Agnes treatment (satisfaction, positive aspects, etc.).

A: I am extremely satisfied! I chose the 6-session course, but I saw significant improvement after just 3 sessions. I now feel confident even without makeup.

Message to the Clinic Staff and Readers of the Report:

I, too, suffered from acne for many years, and while you might find it a bit costly, I believe it’s worth every penny! The earlier you seek Agnes treatment, the better. The doctor and staff were truly kind and attentive. Thank you very much!

In Conclusion

Acne often does not fully resolve with medication alone, and it can lead to noticeable acne scars. Early treatment for acne is crucial, and we highly recommend considering Agnes treatment as an option for timely intervention.

The Best Acne Treatment: It’s Agnes!

Agnes is currently the most popular skin medical treatment for acne. Agnes is a non-invasive procedure designed to address the fundamental causes of acne, such as overactive sebaceous glands, bacteria, and excessive inflammation. In a previous blog, we introduced how Agnes is an application of the Kobayashi Method. While Agnes is highly effective for various skin conditions, including conditions like sweat gland disorders, we’ll focus on its application for acne treatment in this article.

Principles of Agnes Treatment

Agnes treatment employs radiofrequency (RF) technology to target and treat sebaceous glands and inflamed tissues within the skin’s pores. Here are the key principles:

①Utilizing RF Energy: Agnes uses RF energy to selectively destroy overactive sebaceous glands responsible for acne. RF energy is delivered through a specialized handpiece.

②Micro-Insulated Needles: The tip of Agnes’ handpiece features micro-insulated needles with insulating components to protect surrounding tissues. These specialized needles allow precise delivery of RF energy to the sebaceous glands without harming adjacent tissues.

③Thermal Coagulation: RF energy causes controlled thermal coagulation of the sebaceous glands, reducing inflammation, promoting acne scar improvement, and decreasing excess sebum production—the primary contributor to acne.

④Bacterial Elimination: Agnes also aids in eliminating bacteria associated with acne by creating an unfavorable environment for them on the skin.

⑤Collagen Generation: Agnes treatment stimulates collagen production deep within the skin by inducing minor thermal damage. This results in improved skin elasticity and texture, potentially smoothing out acne scars.

Treatment Frequency

The frequency of Agnes treatment varies based on the patient’s acne condition. Typically, treatments are performed every few weeks to a few months. Generally, undergoing treatment once a month for about three sessions can lead to lasting improvements in acne-prone skin.

Treatment Procedure

The treatment process involves:

①Anesthesia: Surface anesthesia with cream is applied before treatment to ensure the patient’s comfort.

②Agnes Device Usage: A nurse, guided by a physician’s instructions, uses the Agnes device to commence treatment.

③Completion of Treatment: The duration of Agnes treatment varies depending on the targeted area but usually takes about 30 minutes.

④Post-Treatment “Melting”: Within three days of Agnes treatment, a follow-up appointment is scheduled to remove any exudate or sebum produced as a result of the treatment.

Agnes Treatment Downtime and Possible Side Effects

Agnes is generally a minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime. Patients can typically resume their regular activities immediately after treatment. While Agnes has few significant side effects, some individuals may experience temporary redness, swelling, or mild discomfort at the treatment site. These effects usually subside within a few days.

Benefits

and Results of Agnes Treatment Agnes is highly effective in reducing various types of acne, including inflammatory acne, comedonal acne, and cystic acne. By addressing the root causes of acne, it delivers long-lasting results. Agnes also regulates sebum production, helping prevent future acne breakouts.

In Conclusion

Agnes treatment is garnering attention as a revolutionary advancement in acne treatment. This innovative procedure tackles the primary culprits of acne—overactive sebaceous glands, bacteria, and inflammation—while providing long-term results through a non-invasive approach. Agnes treatment offers hope to those struggling with acne, but it’s crucial to consult with a knowledgeable physician to create a tailored treatment plan. Agnes treatment represents a promising solution for individuals dealing with acne, helping them regain their confidence.

Dr. Kobayashi’s “Kobayashi Method”

A Tribute to Dr. Toshio Kobayashi

We pay our respects to Toshio Kobayashi, M.D., a dermatologist who practiced at the “Aoyama Kobayashi Clinic” in Tokyo. Dr. Kobayashi is particularly renowned for his groundbreaking “Kobayashi Method” in the field of acne treatment. Although his name may be fading from recent memory, I wish to honor Dr. Kobayashi’s legacy and delve into the details of the Kobayashi Method. It’s worth noting that Dr. Toshio Kobayashi has already passed away.

What Is the “Kobayashi Method”?

The “Kobayashi Method” involves the use of needles to penetrate the sebaceous glands responsible for acne and applying electric current to burn and destroy them. Dr. Kobayashi first presented this method in a research paper in 2003. His innovative treatment garnered high praise, and his Aoyama clinic was reputedly thriving. I personally felt a strong interest in learning this method, and I sought opportunities to be mentored directly by Dr. Kobayashi. Unfortunately, he passed away, and that opportunity was lost.

Why Didn’t the “Kobayashi Method” Gain Widespread Recognition?

The “Kobayashi Method” earned a reputation for dramatically improving acne symptoms, garnering recognition among experts in cosmetic surgery and dermatology. However, one of the reasons it didn’t become widely known to the general public is likely due to Dr. Kobayashi’s passing before his innovative treatment could spread. Additionally, there were few physicians capable of practicing the Kobayashi Method, and over time, the name itself began to fade.

Then, Suddenly

Just when I had lost the opportunity to learn the Kobayashi Method and was caught up in other cosmetic surgeries, an extraordinary opportunity came my way. That opportunity was the “Agnes” device. Recommended by a trusted supplier, this device had gained acclaim in Korea for its effectiveness in treating acne. As I listened to the explanation, I immediately recognized that it was an adaptation of the Kobayashi Method. The more I learned, the clearer it became that Agnes was designed to make the Kobayashi Method more practical and effective. Without hesitation, I decided to purchase Agnes. That was seven years ago.

Using Agnes

Seven years have passed since I started using Agnes. This remarkable device has the potential to dramatically improve acne symptoms. I particularly recommend Agnes as the first choice for patients with inflammatory acne. However, many are unaware that this incredible treatment owes its roots to Dr. Toshio Kobayashi. There is no mention of Dr. Kobayashi on the official Agnes website. I felt compelled to acknowledge Dr. Kobayashi’s accomplishments, and that’s why I’ve written this article about the relationship between the “Kobayashi Method” and Agnes. In tribute to Dr. Toshio Kobayashi.
